About Cluny Bank and Franklin’s Restaurant
The small, cosy lounge bar is the heart of the house. Our guests often say that they feel so comfortable, it’s like being at home. At night, the bar area comes to life. Have a pre-dinner drink whilst being tempted by our menu.
Lloyd or Jules will be on hand to answer any questions about the dishes available, but the only question we will not answer is ‘what would you recommend’ as we would eat everything on our menus ourselves and every dish is sourced, prepared and cooked with the same passion.
After your meal you are welcome to have coffees in the bar and maybe indulge in a wee tipple from our range of about 40 malt whiskies, mainly from the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail, as well as some of the more well-known Islay Malts.
Franklin’s Restaurant is Cluny Bank’s star turn. It’s award-winning food is renowned throughout Moray, and the hard work of chef/owner Lloyd Kenny. Franklin’s (Lloyd’s christened name) is a small restaurant with only six tables.
When booking a table it is yours for the night. Our priority is for you to relax and enjoy the dining experience, and we ensure the meal you are served is prepared with the freshest ingredients, so we only shop and prepare for the reservations made and our guests arriving or staying in the hotel.
Each and every meal that is served in the restaurant is prepared and cooked by Lloyd, he runs his kitchen alone so you can be assured of consistent, good quality at all times.
