About Haven Bistro & Bar
Julius trained in Austria as a chef, he then worked in Switzerland for five years gaining experience in every aspect of high-class catering. In 1964 Julius came to England where he worked for several high-class establishments.
In 1969 he took over the famous Frederick’s Restaurant as General Manager. After running the restaurant for over 7 years he started his own eateries - Julius’ and Uppers Bistro in Upper Street. Both restaurant were an instant success. In 2001 Haven Bistro & Bar was opened in Whetstone, again it was an instant success and is now the best known and most successful restaurant in North London.
Haven is a family-run restaurant situated at the heart of Whetstone N20. Haven offers private dining space for family or corporate parties and holds a wedding license.
