About The CowdrayOpen all day, 7 days a week for lunch, dinner and bar snacks from 12pm – 3pm and 5pm – 11pm, The Cowdray is ideal for corporate lunches and can accommodate private business breakfast bookings. If you are looking for a congenial environment, away from the office, where you can get down two some serious thinking or discussions with associates, then The Cowdray could be the ideal spot.Areas of the pub are available for party hire whether it’s a breakfast, lunch, dinner or all-day event. We can cater for a sit-down menu for up to 60 people or drinks & canapes for up to 80 people. And if you want to add that extra touch, we can provide Flowers, Balloons, Ice Luges, Cakes. Our restaurant is proud to provide our customers with the freshest produce and, to help us reduce our carbon footprint, we aim to source our ingredients locally or at least from within the county of Sussex. However, where this is not possible, we source them from neighbouring counties. The Cowdray is situated approximately one mile from the M23 and only about 6 miles from Gatwick Airport. |

Good tasty food with good service and a smile on the face of the staff, is worth a lot nowadays, and you'll get it in bucketloads at The Cowdray. We went for a Sunday lunch, a month or so ago, and it's worth booking ahead and asking for a table in the conservatory, which overlooks Cowdry Forest.
The food was terrific - really tasty - and well worth the price and the short wait. All the food is cooked to order so the time it takes is quite reasonable. I had an excellent experience at the Cowdray as both a pub and a restaurant and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
