Quaint, cosy and full of charm from a bygone era. 'The Glue Pot' as it is far better known sits right on the harbor in Castletown and is literally a stones-throw from Castle Rushen.The name 'glue pot' derives from when the smugglers used to pop in for some light refreshment and find it difficult to leave and the name just stuck (no pun intended)! Good pint in the Glue Pot. Good people working there and it's a real cozy pub (got a nice feel to it). I've had bar meals there a couple of times and they're spot on - hot, fresh, served quickly, right price. What more can you ask from a pub that does grub?

Excellent establishment. Cozy nooks, real beer, nice food, pleasant staff, good coffee. This is a "proper" pub, run by "proper" people for "proper" pub-goers
